P.E. Sports Premium
The sports premium is an amount of money which the government has agreed to allocate schools and Academies for Sports Development. The purpose of the money is ensure schools can help more children get active and healthy, and learn the confidence and skills that will help them to succeed in life.
This funding has been used to improve the quality of PE lessons, fund extra-curricular PE and sporting activities for pupils, recruit more PE teachers and sports specialists to improve the quality of lessons or after-school clubs, buy new equipment and offer a wider selection of sports.
