Mathematics World Cup Winners
Mathematics World Cup Winners
This week was a very special week at Squirrels Heath Junior School; a group of Year 4 students won the inaugural Mathematics World Cup, beating over 30,000 children from all over the world! The organiser visited the school to present the team with a special award, and the winners and runners up all received a medal and a certificate.
We have been lucky enough to feature on BBC radio, and the story has also been covered in the Romford Recorder - it has made page 2 of today's edition.
We have also posted the photos and some radio coverage of the event on our blog, please have a look:

At Squirrels Heath Juniors, we appreciate all of your support to help your child learn and enjoy Maths, and we ask that over the holidays you continue to help children memorise their times tables, so that they come back in September, ready to defend the title!
Thank you for your continued support,
A Bush
